When the shedding stroke of water jet loomis fixed, accordingly the stretch length of yarn is fxied. So it is easy to see that the less the yarn is stretched, the less damage the yarn undergoes. There will be significant reduction of yarn broken, filoplume etc. Therefore, the starting efficiency gets increased.  So under certain situation,  it is recommended that the machine goes with a less wider body.
